Homonym, a music specialist agency in the Philippines that provides brand-harmonized and audience-tuned music solutions, together with the NCCA (National Commission for Culture & The Arts), is mounting the first ever Philippines-centric Music Conference x Festival called SONIK PHILIPPINES on October 4-5, 2019.
Our very own Mother Folker – Cattski Espina will be one of the panelists to discuss the topic on The Role of Major and Indie Labels for Today’s Musician along with Ian Monsod of Warner PH, Roslyn Pineda of Sony Music, Ricky Ilacad of MCA Music, Kathleen Dy-Go of UR/Mustard, Chris Lopez of Tarsier, Carlo Perlas of Tower of Doom and Pat Sarabia of Offshore Music.
SONIK PHILIPPINES is a 2-day Music and Business conference designed to marry the creative and the business sides of music – within the context of the Philippine setting (that means Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao and OFW musicians, too!).
An expected 500-800 of the top music and business artists and executives are to attend SONIK PHILIPPINES. From record labels, management companies, events & activations firms, production/sound design outfits, production houses, music startups as well as the brightest and up-and-coming musicians from the Philippines. The goal is to bridge the gaps within the music community and elevate our craft to world-class standards – not just the artistry, but what goes on behind the artistry.
We’re happy that Cebu will be represented in Sonik Philippines and who best to do it but our very own Mother Folker!
