Songs of Summer’s second to the last run happened on May 16, a night that yielded great talent, great atmosphere, and great homegrown music appreciation.
DOX, new to the Songs of Summer stage, started the show without holding back on the funk and bass.
Vincent Eco, once again armed with his acoustic guitar, serenaded the night’s sentimental hearts with tales that stem from his own experience.
Synth-pop duo Sepia Times followed, sharing their yearnings for heavenly moments and perfect breakfasts in bed.
Closing the show, Thinking Chair sang of youthful love & the woes that come with it.
Next Wednesday is the final run and as much as we dislike endings, we can’t help but look forward to the awesome lineup – 5 artists will be playing next week!
