We said goodbye to this year’s Songs of Summer last May 23, where we felt every ounce of appreciation for homegrown music from the best crowd ever.

Synth-pop duo Mandaue Nights kicked off the night with their mastery of nostalgic sound, much to the delight of everyone. The addition of a drummer brought their performance to a whole new level of fun.

Groovematics made everyone a dancer with their own cool flavor of jazz and hip-hop.

Our one and only Mother Folker then claimed the stage, and reminded everyone why we do what we do.

The Wonggoys kept the energy above level, effortlessly enticing the crowd to sing along.

Intertwined kicked it up a notch with their new brass section, ending the night with amazing instrumental solos we never knew we needed!

We’ll definitely miss the previous Wednesday nights, but we’re glad we shared them with you. Thanks to you for making our summer extra special, and to Cuckoo Cloud Concepts and Ayala Center Cebu for always supporting homegrown music!

Time flies, so we’re absolutely looking forward to the next chapter! Until the next one!
