It’s always bittersweet to say goodbye to Summer. The last night of Songs of Summer at Garden Row, Central Bloc, I.T. Park was an evening chock full of surprises and special guests and the audience was teeming with excitement. Certainly the final show of the year was a night to be remembered.
We opened with a dynamic performance from the quirky pop-punk duo The Vast.
It was a special treat having Odd play at the Songs of Summer finale! They took the stage by storm, coming all the way from Dumaguete City, spicing things up with an all instrumental set.
Bethany left the crowd feeling nostalgic by taking a break from their originals and serenading the people with their cover of “Somewhere Only We Know.”
Lourdes Maglinte, as always, wowed the crowd with her amazing performance of “Start a Fire,” singing alongside Vincent Eco.
The Khaleesi of the music scene, Cattski, announced her hiatus saying that she needed to take a break to gather more ideas for more songs.
Vincent Eco certainly gave the audience a night they wouldn’t forget as he played with a full band performance that left listeners awestruck!
One of the highlights of the final Songs of Summer show included the surprise performance of the Wonggoys! The crowd came together and were up on their feet to sing along to their songs as they wrapped up the show.
